Requesting Metrics via AI
The AI assistant understands natural-language requests. To get an accurate answer, it's enough to clearly specify: what, from where, and for what period.
Basic formula
[metric] by [source] for [period] broken down by [entity]Example requests
Simple requests
- "How much did we spend on Meta Ads yesterday?"
- "Show Google Ads spend for this week"
- "How many impressions did TikTok get over the last 7 days?"
Requests with aggregation
- "Show the top 5 campaigns by spend in Meta Ads this month"
- "Average CTR across all Google Ads campaigns over the last 30 days"
- "Total conversions across all sources this quarter"
Requests with a breakdown
- "Spend by day for the last week in Meta Ads"
- "Impressions and clicks by campaign in Google Ads yesterday"
- "Cost per lead broken down by source this month"
Requests with filtering
- "Campaigns with spend over $1,000 in the last week"
- "Ad groups with CTR below 1% in Meta Ads over 7 days"
- "Sources with ROAS above 2 over the last month"
What metrics can be requested
| Category | Example metrics |
|---|---|
| Spend | spend, cost |
| Impressions | impressions |
| Clicks | clicks |
| Conversions | conversions, leads |
| Efficiency | CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS |
| Engagement | engagement, likes, shares, comments |
AI clarifying questions
If the AI can't unambiguously interpret the request, it will ask a clarifying question:
- "For which exact period?"
- "Which data source should I use?"
- "What breakdown should I use for the data?"
You can respond to the clarification, and the AI will continue.
Tips
- Always specify a period — without one, the AI defaults to "the last 7 days"
- If no source is specified, the AI will request data across all available sources
- Metrics can be named either as they appear originally (spend, clicks) or in your own words
