Disconnecting Telegram
Disconnecting the Telegram integration breaks the link between a LightLead workspace and Telegram. There are two scenarios: workspace-level disconnection (affects everyone) and unlinking a personal account (affects only you).
Who can disconnect
- Workspace owner — full disconnection of the Telegram integration for the whole workspace
- Any member — unlinking their own personal Telegram from the workspace
Where to find it
Full disconnection (owner)
- Google Sheets: Settings → Integrations → Telegram
- Click Disconnect Telegram
- Confirm in the dialog
Unlinking a personal account (member)
- Mini app: Profile → Unlink account
- Or Google Sheets: Settings → My profile → Telegram → Unlink
What data is affected
When disconnecting at the workspace level:
- All Telegram channel alerts are disabled (but not deleted)
- All notifications stop being sent
- The mini app becomes unavailable to all members
- Member links to Telegram are preserved but inactive
When unlinking a personal account:
- Your personal alerts are disabled
- You stop receiving notifications
- The mini app is unavailable for your account
- Other members are not affected
Actions
Full disconnection
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Telegram
- Click Disconnect Telegram
- In the dialog, choose what to do with alerts:
- Keep and disable — alerts are preserved but not checked, and can be restored on reconnection
- Delete all alerts — irreversibly deletes all Telegram alerts in the workspace
- Click Disconnect
Unlinking a personal account
- Open the mini app or Google Sheets
- Profile → Unlink account
- Confirm in the dialog
- The bot sends a message: "Your account has been unlinked from LightLead. To connect again, use /start"
What requires confirmation
- Full disconnection — two-step confirmation:
- Dialog "Disconnect the Telegram integration for [workspace]? This will affect [N] members"
- Choice of what to do with alerts (keep or delete)
- Unlinking a personal account — dialog "Unlink your Telegram from LightLead? You will lose access to the mini app and notifications"
Result
After disconnecting:
- The integration status changes to "Disconnected" in settings
- All members receive a notification about the disconnection (in the case of full disconnection)
- The event is logged in the workspace audit trail
- The Open app button in the bot becomes inactive
Reconnecting
- Click Connect Telegram in settings
- Go through the connection process again
- If alerts were kept — they activate automatically
- Member links are restored (no need for each member to re-link individually)
Important notes
- Disconnecting does not delete the chat with the bot — message history is preserved in Telegram
- Report data is not affected — it remains in Google Sheets
- When the workspace owner changes, the Telegram integration keeps working without reconnection
- If the workspace is deleted — the Telegram integration is disconnected automatically
