HighLevel limitations
This article describes the limitations of the HighLevel connector in LightLead.
API limitations
Rate limiter: per-location key highlevel:{locationId}. Errors: rate_limit (429 + retry-after — retryable), location_inactive (retryable — location inactive), upstream_5xx (retryable). Binding to location_id is mandatory. Identity check: Location user type only.
General limitations

Unsupported capabilities
The following capabilities are currently not supported:
Writing data: the connector is read-only; modifying data in the CRM is not possible
Real time: sync is periodic, not real-time
Attachments and files: fields of type "file" are not loaded
Notes and comments: text notes on deals are not synced
Tasks and activities: task and meeting history is not loaded
Impact on sync
When limits are exceeded:
Rate limit: sync is paused and automatically resumed
Timeout: the request is retried with an increased interval
Large data volume: sync is split into multiple cycles
