Connecting HubSpot

This article describes how to connect HubSpot CRM to LightLead.

Prerequisites

  • An active CRM account

  • Admin rights or access to API settings

  • A stable internet connection

Step 1. Get an API Key

HubSpot requires a Private App Token from Settings → Integrations → Private Apps. The token must have scopes: crm.objects.deals.read, crm.objects.contacts.read, crm.objects.companies.read, crm.schemas.deals.read.

Step 2. Add the Connection in LightLead

  1. Go to the Integrations section in LightLead.

  2. Click Add Connection and select HubSpot.

  3. Enter the API key and other required parameters.

  4. Click Connect.

Step 3. Verify the Connection

After a successful connection, LightLead automatically runs initial discovery:

  • Loads the list of available entities

  • Retrieves standard and custom fields

  • Loads pipelines and statuses

  • Verifies permissions

The connection status appears in the integrations list. A green indicator means the connection is successful.

Step 4. Configure Sync

After connecting, configure sync parameters:

  • Sync interval: choose how often data auto-refreshes

  • Entity selection: choose which entities to sync

  • Data depth: configure the historical data period to load
